2.1 Device Information

• Device ID: Obtained for user authentication and prevention of unauthorized access
• OS Information: Android, iOS, and other OS versions
• App Version: Version information of the app in use

2.2 Usage Data

• Screen Navigation History: Screens viewed within the app
• Search Keywords: Search terms entered
• Product Operation History: Operations such as item registration, editing, deletion, and consumption
• Recognition Results: Success and failure information of AI recognition

2.3 Product Data

The following product information is stored only on the device's local storage:

• Product name
• Expiration date
• Category (Vegetables, Meat, Fish, Dairy, Condiments, Other)
• Quantity
• Storage location (Refrigerator, Freezer, Vegetable drawer, Room temperature)
• Product image (local only)
• Notification settings (notification on/off for each item)

Note: Product data is not saved to the cloud. It is managed only on the device.

3. Purpose of Information Use

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

• Authentication and Security: Secure user authentication using device ID
• Service Provision: Providing image recognition and notification features
• App Improvement: Improving features and fixing bugs through usage analysis
• Ad Delivery: Displaying ads within the app
• Usage Analytics: Improving service quality

4. Third-Party Disclosure

We use the following third-party services and may provide information to them:

• Firebase Authentication: Providing user authentication functionality
• Firebase Functions: Providing authentication server functionality

4.2 OpenAI

• OpenAI API: Image recognition from product photos (automatic extraction of product name, expiration date, and category)

For image recognition, the captured photo is sent to OpenAI's servers. The image is not saved after the recognition process.

4.3 Conditions for Information Disclosure

We may disclose user information to third parties only in the following cases:

• When required by law (search warrant, court order, etc.)
• When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, ensure safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests
• When providing to trusted service providers who work on our behalf and do not have independent use of the information, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy policy

5. Cookies and Tracking

This app uses Google Analytics 4 and AdMob for ad delivery and usage analytics, and may automatically collect user information.

These services may use tracking using cookies and advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID). For details, please check each service's privacy policy.

6. Data Storage Location and Retention

6.1 Data Storage Location

• Product Data: Device's local storage (not saved to the cloud)
• Device ID: Saved on Firebase servers
• Analytics Data: Saved on Google Analytics servers (following Google's data retention policy)

6.2 Data Retention Period

• Product Data: While using the app and until the app is deleted
• Device ID: Until account deletion request
• Analytics Data: Following Google Analytics data retention policy (typically 26 months)

6.3 Data Management

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data we collect. However, complete security on internet communications cannot be guaranteed.

7. Location Information

This app does not collect location information. All features can be used without location information.

8. User Rights

Users have the following rights:

• Request for Disclosure: The right to know how your information is used
• Request for Deletion: The right to delete your information
• Opt-out of Ads: The right to refuse personalized ads

8.1 How to Delete Data

To delete your data, follow these steps:

1. Uninstalling the app will completely delete product data on the device
2. For device ID deletion or other data deletion requests, please contact us at the contact information below

9. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will immediately delete it.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated Privacy Policy will become effective when posted on this page.
